Awesome Experience

Yesterday, 20 people who only dreamed of leaning to ski......made it a reality........it was an awesome experience.........thanks to the Iowa Sports Foundation (Mike Boone) and the Adaptive Adventures group from Chicago........and all the volunteers. I don't remember everyones name but I know Joel, Ron, Vern, Suzanne, Shelly, Matt, Jesse and all the rest had a good time.......we were SO happy Seven Oaks was invited to participate!

See you on the slopes soon.......

What......Snow......Really?

Yep, that's what everyone is saying...........a measureable snowfall tonight and tomorrow........the forecast is for Ames to see 4.2 inches and Carroll to our west to get 6.1 inches.........so theoretically if that comes to fruition, Seven Oaks should see about 5 inches...........Wouldn't that be great...........

.......speaking of great............the 150 plus Jefferson Scranton students here to ski, snowboard and snow tube today were just that..........a lot of fun was had by all and their attitudes and personalities were great...........a real pleasure to have them here today........

........another school coming Wednesday next week..........more groups here Saturday and Sunday.........

......should be fun skiing the fresh snow.......all of the ski trails and tubing are 100% snow covered so getting the fresh snow on top will make the conditions real good...........we plan to groom before the snowfall...........

......hope to see you soon.........

Sunrise

Rolling the clock back just a little bit, here is a picture taken by neighbors and friends of Seven Oaks, Craig and Sue Wearmouth last Friday morning as the sun rose over Boone County. Awesome!
