The World Series of Snow

I just can't get over how much snow we keep getting..........it's like the World Series for Snow.....what a great way to go into the home stretch of the season......... A skiff today, a little more tomorrow, then another system with maybe 2 inches for Saturday night........WOW......the conditions could not be better than it is right now.........and all of our Season Pass Holders have the opportunity to introduce a couple of buddies to the world of winter recreation during February at a special price that can't be beat........

...and the Winter Olympics start tomorrow ........ shoot we have more snow at Seven Oaks than they do for the Olympics........we are not trucking it in........it is just coming.....and coming.....

...actually I kind of enjoy all the exagerated comments coming from the people that do not enjoy winter sports......geez....they should introduce themselves to the fun, the exhiliration, the exercise one gets from skiing and riding.....shoot....this winter reminds me of the late 50's and the 60's when we got at least this much snow and usually had a lot of wind that made for huge drifts.........great for tunnels and igloos....it was before my days of skiing.....but did we ever come up with some crazy ideas on how to slide down the biggest hill on the farm..........now i have shown my age........

but speaking of the Olympics and trucking it in......I am sure they will make it all work......who would have thought that no snow and warm temps would be the case for this Olympics.......in Canada.......in February.....and oh my gosh the additional expense it is placing on their budget! Unreal........

Schools coming on Friday.........and DON'T FORGET THE LAST SCHEDULED LATE NITE IS THIS SATURDAY NIGHT........

oh yeah and we are open Monday for Presidents Day........some of you may have make up school but some of you may work for a company that is closed that holiday that allows you to come ski or ride for the day.........

later.......
